Dear friends,
A growing number of Operating Authorities is using the Participants’ Logbook (www.jugendprogramm.de/logbook) for planning, recording and certifying Award activities. To support this extremely positive development, we “expanded” the Logbook in such a way that it now also can be used as a Record Book. Please find all details in an attached information sheet.
Also, “Hints for Gold Award Participants” are now available as part of the Participants’ Logbook. Since this instruction is important for Award Leaders, as well, it is also included in the Leaders’ Manual (www.jugendprogramm.de/leaders-manual), which will step-by-step become the English equivalent of our Leitermappe. Award Basics (www.jugendprogramm.de/basics), which has been updated too, will become a part of it.
If you must give feedback to the National Award Office by one of our forms, please make sure to use the up-to-date version. The easiest way is to download the Forms’ Collection (www.jugendprogramm.de/formularsammlung) first. As part of the Forms’ Collection there are now also the forms for your Annual Report 2010 available, while the hints about how to use the Forms’ Collection are still not translated.
From every Operating Authority, at least the Award Co-ordinator and two deputies must attend an Award Leaders Course AND an Award Management Course. Whereas there are no problems concerning the Award Leaders Course, we discovered a few “blank spots” with respect to the Award Management Course. Three courses are already scheduled for 2011 (www.jugendprogramm.de/kalender), so you should easily find one that fits your schedule.
Best wishes,
Klaus
