Czech Youth Programme (The Duke of Edinburgh‘s Award) is going to apply for a Contact Making Seminar, within the frame of Action 5 Support Measures of Youth Program, on 21/09 – 25/09 2005 in Podebrady (50 km from Prague), Czech Republic.

Title of the project:
Volunteers Management
Aim:
To bring together Award Operators/Units from EU countries and
To provide creative atmosphere for developing their future project ideas
Objectives:
Participants will meet other Award leaders and volunteers and will have the opportunity to know each other
Participants will exchange experience in volunteers management
Strong and long-lasting links among the participants will be established for future international cooperation
Project management and project planning will be discussed
Concrete projects will be developed by participants
Methodology:
Ice-breaking games, workshops, outdoor activities, artistic workshops, local studies
Working language:
English
Target Group:
Youth workers, youth leaders, project managers
Young volunteers
Young people working or willing to work on an international level
Cost:
Board and lodging are provided by the hosting organisation and are covered by the project budget
70% of the travel expenses will be reimbursed on the basis of the most economic transport fares
Funding:
If you are interested to join the seminar, please fill the PART III*) and send it by fax and by mail not later than 25th March. (There could be maximum two representatives per partner/organisation.) By this date we would also need to know the estimation of your travel costs.
