The highlight of the “Kurt Hahn Year” on the occasion of the 125th birthday of the inventor of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is an international ceremony on Saturday, 5 November 2011, in Osterburken. In addition to the distinguished guests from home and abroad, all Operating Authorities are invited to participate.
Deadline for registration is 8 October 2011. At the event the festschrift “Thoughts on Kurt Hahn's – from the Award’s point of view” –edited by the German National Award Authority – will be presented (NETZWERK reported). There will also be the official handover in the position of the German National Director.
