One result of the 9th German-Finish Award seminar in November was the idea to run a similar “high level exchange” for the whole Baltic Sea area in autumn 2009, also in Germany. In the meantime, we found a venue in the vicinity of Hamburg in Lutjensee, where the seminar could take place from November 20-22.

Dear Friends

One result of the 9th German-Finish Award seminar in November was the idea to run a similar “high level exchange” for the whole Baltic Sea area in autumn 2009, also in Germany. In the meantime, we found a venue in the vicinity of Hamburg in Lutjensee, where the seminar could take place from November 20-22. As usual we are collecting all available details about the project on its website http://www.jugendprogramm.de/kalender/2009/baltic-sea-seminar. So far, you can of course only find little information there due to the early stage of preparations. The fee will lead up to about 75.00 Euro.

One of the topics to be discussed could be Award training in the Baltic Sea area, but of course each country is invited to make its own suggestions and contributions concerning possible topics. As you can learn from the website, we set two early reservation and registration deadlines in order to estimate whether people regard this seminar useful and necessary. If this wasn’t the case, we still could cancel the project in time. The seminar will take place if at least 5 different countries announce participation until 28.02.2009 and at least 15 participants register via their national agency until 29.05.2009.

Please contact me if you have any questions or proposals.

Best wishes,

Klaus Vogel
