October 2011 Courses: Circular No 3

Dear friends,

The largest part of the Online Library (“Bibliothek”) has now moved from the public Website to the protected Intranet*). There, each Operating Authotity has its own area – and there is also a public area for cross-border information exchange. There’s a broad spectrum of things that could be shared this way, for example locally developed Award materials, dates of expedition trainings or ventures, and newspaper articles.

During the next few days we will set up the required personal Intranet accounts for all course participants, of whom we already got the e-mail address. As soon as the account is ready, the system will send an e-mail to the user containing a link to be followed for setting up her/his password and open her / his account. This must happen within a few days after the receipt of the mail.

*) Not to be confused with the Online Award Administration System (OAAS), which is an important theme of both courses. This will be discussed in a later circular.
