It would be very helpful if everybody could bring with their main national or local Award media including photographs or videos. Main IASS literature will be “Award Basics” (4th ed, the German Award handbook in English language), and “Participants Logbook” (both rather close to the corresponding UK versions).

The International Award Summer School (IASS) will give you the opportunity to see one “example” of the Award (the German one) as through a microscope. Both the good and (still…) not so good things you will probably discover should help you to better understand the philosophy of the Award and to strengthen your “Award House” at home.

But equally important is sharing experiences, and both the Award Officers Course and the Award Workshops will focus on this aim. Therefore, it would be very helpful if you could bring with you your main national or local Award media including photographs or videos and present them during the IASS 2009.

Main IASS literature will be “Award Basics” (4th ed., the German Award handbook in English language), and “Participants Logbook” (both rather close to the corresponding UK versions). Every participant will get copies right at the beginning of the joint week, but you can already find them in the download area of IASS 2009.
