Due to the situation in the country, the delegation from Pakistan had to cancel their flight to Frankfurt and will not be able to attend the 5th International Award Summer School. On behalf of the German Award, Karsten Vogel wrote in an email: “We are all very sad about the events in your country. Though we are very sorry to hear that you won't be with us during IASS 2010, of course we fully understand your situation. We wish you and your family all the best and hope that the situation in Pakistan will soon improve. Our thoughts are with you.”
