Tasks
Train the Trainer (TtT) course participants will act in tandems – as far as possible with one person from Germany and one from abroad.
Those tandems will prepare and run together
Award Leaders Course (ALC): about 2 sessions
Award Officers Course (Award Management Simulation, AOC)
1 plenary session concerning a specific management task (developing a short “How To” handout included)
Acting as part of the direction for at least one of the four stages of the simulation
Adventure & Seminar Games: 1 game.
The quoted task numbers are strongly depending on the numbers of TtT course participants and hence are provisional.
Participants will get a more detailed overview of their tasks from the final lesson plan they will get just before Summer School 2010 will start.
Programme
There are four different elements
Taking part in all seminar sessions.
Joint meetings (every evening mainly for input if appropriate and collecting feedback to all seminar sessions run over the day)
Preparing their next task together with their tandem partner
Executing their task during the seminar.
During the first TtT meeting on Monday evening course participants will get
General input and explanations
Their tandem partner
Their session’s topic and the scheduled time frame
TtT materials like “Trainers Evaluation form”.
Course participants can prepare their respective tasks
In the morning (“Early Morning Working Breakfast”)
During lunch time (“Working Lunch”)
In the evenings just after the TtT plenary meeting.
Help
There will be experienced trainers who will support the course participants preparing their tasks, including Karsten Vogel (EMAS & German Training Panel).
Because these trainers will run their own “Early Morning Working Breakfast”, you won’t be able to contact them before the first session will start in the morning.
